Swapping It Up: Exchanging Your Gear

Sometimes you find the perfect item, but maybe it's not quite the right size or color. No problem! Here's how exchanges work for online orders:


Free Exchanges:

  • You can exchange most items within 30 days of your order's ship date for a different size or color of the same exact item (same SKU). "Clearance" and personalized items are final sale and not eligible for exchange.
  • Items must be unworn, unaltered, and in their original packaging with tags still attached.
  • To start an exchange, simply contact our friendly E-commerce team at bearwear@asucla.ucla.edu. They'll help you get a return authorization number and a return shipping label.

In your email, please include the following:

1. Your order number

  1. The item(s) you wish to return
  2. The reason for returning
  3. If the item was gifted to you by someone else (if possible, please include the gift givers' order number, phone number, or email address so we can locate the order)
  4. What color or size you'd like to exchange for

What You Can't Exchange:

  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges for items that are a different SKU or style. If you're looking for something completely different, you can return your original item and place a new order.
  • We also cannot accept exchanges for items after 30 days, or for items that are damaged, worn, or altered.

Pro Tip: Want to exchange your online order in-store? Head over to the UCLA Store on Ackerman Union B-Level! With your original packing slip and unworn/unaltered item, our friendly staff can process your exchange quickly and efficiently. Remember, in-store exchanges are only available for same SKU items that meet our standard return policy conditions.
